He made the suggestion while receiving Kikeo Khaykhamphithoune, Secretary of the Lao Party Central Committee, Head of the Lao People’s Revolutionary Party (LPRP) Central Committee’s Commission for Propaganda and Training, and President of the Lao National Council for Social Sciences, in Hà Nội. The senior Lao official is in Hà Nội to attend the Fifth Theoretical Workshop on “Rapid, sustainable development.” "Việt Nam strongly supports the renewal process in Laos and believes the Lao people will record more significant achievements and implement successfully the Resolution adopted at the fifth National Party Congress," Trong said. Việt Nam would spare no effort to maintain and nurture the special solidarity with Laos, he added. The Lao official expressed his pleasure at growing bilateral relations in all fields.
